Annual Maintenance Fees

Our annual maintenance fees are designed to wrap up all of our services related to your website into one convenient payment.

For this fee, we will take care of your e-mail (including spam filtering), domain renewal, SEO, site statistics, and provide sufficient hours of maintenance to help you keep your website up-to-date.

In the event that you require additional changes to your website, over and above the hours offered in our standard package, the following rates will apply:

  • $60/hour for Web Design / content changes
  • $80/hour for Advanced Web Development

All websites are built using our state-of-the-art PHP-based website building system which allows us to make changes to your site in a fraction of the time that it would take to make the same changes in a conventionally-built "HTML" site.

For clients who wish to maintain portions of their own site, we have a framework that allows commonly updated sections of the site, such as news or blogs, to be edited by the client without any knowledge of programming or HTML.

Additional E-Mail Addresses

If you require additional e-mail addresses, over and above the standard number provided, these are available for $25/e-mail address/year. All additional e-mail addresses include spam-filtering if your package provides for this.

Spam Filter

Many lawyers publish their e-mail addresses directly on their website. Unfortunately, this often leads to a flurry of unsolicited e-mails from spammers who have harvested your e-mail address directly from your website.

We utilize the world-class Postini spam-fighting service from Google to reduce the amount of spam that you receive. Postini is constantly upgrading their algorithms to combat the latest spam threats.

Important Note: In our websites, we use encryption techniques that allow us to publish your e-mail address in a format that prevents it from being harvested by spammers.

Domain Registration

We include the annual registration of your domain at no charge. We can maintain and register additional domains for $25/year.

Statistics

Our statistics package allows you to analyze the traffic to your website including the number of visitors daily, the keywords used to find you, and the sites that your visitors came from.

SEO involves optimizing your website so that Internet users can find you when they are searching for a law firm in Rochester with your Areas of Practice.

Pay-Per-Click Advertising (PPC)

Did you know that you can pay to be at the top of the Google search results?

Each Google results page consists of two distinct lists of results. The regular (organic) search results appear on the left hand side of the page. These are the results that Google feels are most appropriate for your search (and which are optimized by SEO).

In addition to the organic results, you will also notice “Sponsored Links” on the right side of the page (and sometimes at the top of the page directly above the organic search results). We can have a PPC advertising campaign running for you within a day. As the name implies, with PPC advertising, you only pay for the ads when users click on them.
